Today was a cold one! But a good one. We learned lots about Canadian symbols especially those related to Nova Scotia. We looked at our money since the dime has a Blue Nose on it- found in Nova Scotia. Also, lighthouses are also very important to Nova Scotia so we looked at the names of the parts of a lighthouse and guessed how many there are in the province. Rayshaan got it bang on with his guess of 150! Great job Rayshaan!
Tomorrow is Big Buddies and we will be making poppies with them for the Remembrance day assembly on Friday. Our class with be performing a song for the school. Also, please bring in your toys that you would like to donate to Stephen's Backpack fund! See yesterdays post for more info. Thank you!
