I think we all woke up the same way this morning- shocked and not completely ready for Winter! The students were mostly all prepared with boots, pants, gloves, toques, and warm jackets, but this is just a friendly reminder to make sure your child is properly dressed for the weather. Also, putting their name on their mittens, and hats, will definitely help the 'missing mitten' problem that usually comes up this time of year or in the real season of Winter. Thanks so much.
Today we welcomed a new star of the week: Rayshaan! We really enjoyed hearing about his transformers and asked him many questions about them. We also started writing and illustrating the book we are making about him. We are excited for more of his sharing and helping this week! We learned about Water today in Science and talked about some of the uses of water together. We will be moving more into the Coastlines of Canada later this week, once we discuss further the importance of water for people and animals everywhere. I just want to remind you our library day is Thursday, but books are welcome back anytime before that too. Thank you!
